My love for
painting is one of those things that stops the time. Of course
there are my love for knowledge, my love for science, my love
for nature, children and dogs... but painting takes me in a very
special space, filled with joy, light and colour, where
everything is right.
The sea, the
sunsets, the flowers, the trees, the forest, the mystery, the
beauty, the tenderness, the kindness... these are a few of my
favourite things...

For me, art is the difference between chaos and meaning. By
painting, I find the meaning in the meaningless and all the
beauty around me. Computer-generated art or even great
reproductions and photography cannot reach a heart in the same
way an original painting does. What is missing? The ineffable
energy of the human touch, the spirit, the originality and
passion? I paint with love - the creativity, the sensitivity,
the time it takes for the image to form in my mind, the sudden
inspiration, the frenetic finishing, the grace, my soul - all is
there, on the canvas.
Some of my
paintings are now exposed at the Faculty Club, University of
Toronto, 41 Willcocks Avenue, Toronto.
Enjoy !
